Weaving under good/bad weather, 2020, 00:02:26, 4K, 16:9, H.264, Color, Mono
About the Work:
This work was developed outdoors, in the rapid transition of the seasons, something so characteristic of the “Great Lakes State”, in which hot summer days give way to cold and humid autumn days. As the days went by, the landscape changed and, over the course of two weeks, for about 2 to 4 hours a day, I walked in silence, committed to the simplicity of the gesture by having the threads between my fingers to compose a drawing. done without draft. I noticed how that body/web, a red circle materialized little by little, emerging in contrast to the green of the lawn. It grew unceremoniously, becoming a web of varied and complementary natures.
Weaving under good/bad weather…
A web of life and time, of listening and surrender, which intertwined the experiences of existing and being part of a whole like one more thread, composing the great weaning, no more important than any of the others.
